"i prefer to sit in the shade"

she sits across the garden getting sun
her feet are crossed, her arms are at her sides

she sees me eyeing her and then i wave
she waves back and i can't help but smile

this woman is the stuff of my sweet dreams--
my heart explodes for the wife of my youth

  7. Can love keep lovers young in each other's hearts? Perhaps love has the ability to soften time, if not bend it.

  8. What a beautiful tribute to your wife. I think memories soften the edges of the present.
